Register with the Library

Before using library resources, you must first register your ECC Student ID with the Library.

Get Your ECC Library Card or Barcode

Why should I get a library card/barcode?

How do I get a library card/barcode?

  • Bring your Student Picture ID to the library to have the barcode on the back activated.  If you don't have the Student Picture ID card, you will need to bring an ID with your name and current address on it.  We will issue you a temporary library card.
  • OR  Email the library circulation desk with the following information:
    • Name
    • Address
    • Telephone (home, work, and cell)
    • ECC Student ID number
    • Barcode number from the back of your Student Picture ID

In either case, the barcode is valid for the current semester and must be renewed each subsequent semester.  This can be done in the library or by email.
